Due to the overwhelming number of requests that we have received to take in rabbits and the current lack of foster homes, we are currently closed to intake.  We may have farm in our name, but we do not have a permanent location at this time.  If you wish to foster, please send in your information.  You can help us help more rabbits!

Buckthorn will have a big surprise later this month as he will finally be able to visit the campers at the K-W Humane Society to help them learn about rabbits and rabbit care. He's missed these visits the past 3 years (and has been a bit bored only being with me at home)

Is a rabbit the right pet for you?

Rabbits are intelligent, social animals that make wonderful house pets. But, as with any other pet, they need a lot of care.

It is important to be absolutely ready to accept the responsibility for such a long-term pet. You will need to provide food, housing, daily care and attention and find a veterinarian who has experience working with rabbits.
